In 2007 the idea was formed to put Palm Trees along the Promenade in Barmouth. With the help of a wide variety of sponsors, and shear determination, we were able to deliver this unique and wonderful project.

BENCH PROJECT
To accompany our Palm Trees, we decided to add new Benches to the Promenade wall in the existing gaps. Over time we have filled these, and created a new section with the help of Gwynedd Council’s Phil Cousins.

DOLPHIN PROJECT
In October 2007 we completed our first project, a unique Dolphin Water Feature on the harbour. By creating a pond and fountain, we were able to give a beautiful landmark that has been photographed countless times.

In spring of 2010 we outlined the Railway Station as a place that needed our touch. Although the Station is kept clean in general, we felt that it need sprucing up and a complete make over to give it that extra lift.

Designed by Matthew Harris, the impressive Welcome To Barmouth Sign replaced the ones that had become old and dated, as BRIG felt that the town deserved a better first impression that the existing signs gave.

Early in 2008, BRIG was approached by Ceri Wyn Morris, Project co-ordinator Living Coasts Living Seas project, about possible co-operation with BRIG and Llanbedrog School in putting a Teardrop Feature at the Harbour.
