Formed in March 2007, Barmouth Resort Improvement Group (BRIG) is a small progressive, non profit making group of dedicated local people who are committed to a common goal of improving Barmouth, both as a town for our cherished local residents, and as a holiday resort for our much loved and popular local tourist industry.

In a truly radical and ambitious way, we aim to achieve this overall objective by fulfilling a variety of proposals that would range from the simple tidying of neglected small areas and corners of local authority land, to full blown resort changing projects that will make Barmouth the envy of the local community and beyond.

With the help of keen volunteers and a variety of planned fundraising measures, we have already had an impact on the town with a variety of impressive improvements.  We are also keen to move forward with other meaningful projects around Barmouth, and hope to re-establish the town, yet again, as one of the most popular and charismatic seaside towns in the whole of the country.
